New at the Ben Atar gallery - a rotating exhibition.
Each month a different visual artist will show a selection of their finest work on our gallery walls, and the works will be offered for sale.
Our first guest artist is Zeev Bogomolny.
About the artist:
Zeev Bogomolny is a figurative artist working in oil and drawing. He lives in Jaffa and works from his studio in Tel Aviv.
He studied painting and drawing with Leonid Balaklav, David Nipo and Sigal Tsabari.
He has shown in solo and group exhibitions, including "A Journey in Observation" (Herzl 140), "Winter" (Jerusalem) and In Full Bloom (Bayit BeHerzl).
The works are made from observation, in search of the fleeting and the shared in everyday life - through encounter, attention and devotion to the process.
He also teaches art, and looks for a connection between art, thought and activism.

About the collection:
"The works on show are part of a collection I have created over the past five years. They come from an artistic language that speaks with the painting tradition while finding a place of its own.
They reflect an encounter with the home and with the world outside - an attempt to hold on to precious moments that can point the way to more discovery and creation in life.
They are shown here out of a belief that art is a language beyond words, one that brings a sense of home into the spaces we live in."
