It is best to schedule delivery a few hours before the event begins, to allow time for placement, tuning and a sound check with the pianist. For an outdoor chuppah, choose a level, stable surface and a shaded spot. In a hall, place it near the dance floor or stage, so the pianist can see the couple and the guests. In photographs, a grand with its lid open looks stunning from every angle, and an upright adds warmth to a home set.
What is arranged in advance
Every detail is settled in advance, so on the day you are free for your guests. The quote includes delivery to the venue and back, on-site tuning after placement within a time window that fits the schedule, and a suitable bench. We also coordinate access hours with the venue manager or the production, so the piano stands ready and tuned before the guests arrive.

The event date (and, if needed, delivery and collection days), the address or venue, the piano you would like, and measurements or photos of the route from the street to the placement point - door, lift and stage. Tell us about the atmosphere too: a sunset chuppah, a classical evening or a musical production, and how many guests are expected. About a month ahead is a good time to confirm, and even earlier in wedding season - that way there is a wider choice of pianos and dates.
