A place to sit, play and choose
A recommended piano store in Israel is a place where you sit, play and choose. A real selection of pianos in the room, a team that knows every piano, and support that continues after the piano arrives home. At Zohar Pianos all of this is in one place, at the store and gallery, 28 Ben Atar, Tel Aviv.
What to look for in a piano store
A selection to play. When several pianos stand in the same room, you compare sound, touch and look in the same visit, and choose by hand and ear. Every acoustic piano has its own character, even between pianos of the same model, so the most accurate choice is made beside the piano itself.
Help with choosing. A team that knows the pianos knows what to suggest you try, according to who plays, the room and the playing hours.
Rent before you buy. Renting from the store lets you live with a piano at home before deciding, and suits a child starting lessons especially well. Home rental comes with no commitment, and if you buy later, up to six months of rent can be credited, as agreed.
Pianos ready to play. A piano standing in the room, ready to play, truly speaks for itself: how it sounds, how it feels and how it looks in the space. We inspect every piano in depth and bring in only pianos in the best mechanical condition.
Support after purchase. Moving, tuning at home and support over the years, from the same place where you chose your piano. Every piano move we do is fully insured from start to finish with comprehensive coverage, at no extra cost - so you are covered, protected and completely at ease.
What a visit looks like
Come in, tell us who plays, which room the piano will stand in and when you play, and start playing. We prepare several pianos that match the description, upright and grand, acoustic and digital, and give you time to sit at each one. You are welcome to bring your piano teacher, your children, or a favourite piece to play on all of them.
It is worth bringing measurements of the door, hallway and lift too, and a photo of the spot at home. That way, in the same visit, you can already picture the piano in place and plan the move.
Those who come with questions about brands, upright heights or grand lengths leave with answers, beside the pianos themselves. And if you come just to get a feel, you are welcome to come back again.
What to ask during a visit
Ask about where each piano was made and its condition, about what is included in the price - moving, first tuning and a bench - and about the option to start with rental. The more you tell us about your home and who plays, the more precisely we can prepare pianos for you to try.
